Resurrection House

A 501 (c)(3) non-profit, faith-based organization, Resurrection House serves as a day resource center to the homless of Sarasota, County, Florida.

The popular notion of a homeless person as a vagrant, someone who chooses to live on the street, is not a current reality. Many homeless are identified as the "new poor." These individuals who have suffered crisis in their lives and almost overnight found themselves in the street, helpless and unable to regain their place in society.
